Name: European Certification Committee

Topic: To develop and maintain the Regulations for the EFNMSvzw Certifications and to act as the EFNMSvzw controller regarding the Examinations for the Certification

Leader: Jan Franlund, UTEK

Start: 1992. New responsibilities decided upon in the EFNMSvzw General Assembly in October 2004.
Goal: To establish the European Federation of National Maintenance Societies, EFNMS, as the organisation within Europe that is able to certify maintenance professionals (Manager, Specialist and Technician) where the object is a competence assurance of the maintenance activities within Europe.

Status: The Committee is making sure that the Regulations are in conformity with ISO standards and
acts as Quality Supervisor (Controller) for the EFNMS examinations

The Committee has collaboration with the EFNMSvzw European Training Committee in developing the competence requirements for the maintenance professionals in Europe.
