17th EUROPEAN MAINTENANCE CONGRESS FAIR
3rd Spanish Maintenance Exhibition was celebrated in Barcelona,
Spain, last 11th – 13th, May, in the frame of the 17 European
Maintenance Congress, (Euromaintenance 2004). This Fair was
organised by Puntex, with the special collaboration of the
Spanish Maintenance Society (AEM) and “Mantenimiento” magazine.
The opening ceremony of the Exhibition was in charge of Mr. Francisco
Narvaez in the name of Mr. Joan Clos, Mayor of the city, together with Mrs.
Mirta Baranovic, President of EFNMS, Mr. Arjo Klijn, Chairman of EFNMS, Mr.
Ramón Martín, Organiser of the Fair, Mr. José Luis Fabrés, President of AEM
and Mr. Pedro Rodríguez, Director of “Mantenimiento” magazine.
65 stands had been situated in an area of 1040 m2 where 53 exhibitors, with
a wider representation of marks and products, offering their services to
visitors.
The General Stand was located in the main entrance to the Exhibition Hall.
About 20 different entities exposed in this area their brochures, news,
information, documentation, magazines and so, about their activities. These
entities were distributed between Professional Schools, Technical Schools,
Universities, Technical Associations and Technical Magazines.
The image of the Exhibition was very good and the stands shown a high
quality not only in their look but in all context about their products.
The numbers of visitors reached the figure of 3123 and , due the
Euromaintenance, 7 % of them were of foreign countries. The rest of visitors
came from different regions of Spain, but with an important representation
of Catalonian, the region where the Fair was celebrated, with a
participation of 72 %. The distribution of the activities of the visitors,
related with Maintenance, was,
