Euromaintenance Incentive Award 2006

M. Fernandez is professor at the mechanical department of the Carlos III University in Madrid and also Director Maintenance, Engineering and R&D of rolling stock and installations of the subway in Madrid. Runners-up were M. Maza from Germany, and M. Daniel Vandendaul, Maintenance Manager at Baxter in Lessines, Belgium and vice president of BEMAS, the Belgian Maintenance Association.

The EUROMAINTENANCE AWARD established by the EFNMS in 1988, is funded by Salvetti Foundation. Renamed EUROMAINTENANCE INCENTIVE AWARD in 2001, this award is recognition of extraordinary accomplishment in the field of maintenance, as shown by publications, presentations and other public manifestations. The next Euromaintenance Incentive Award will be awarded during EuroMaintenance 2008 in Brussels from April 8th till 10th 2008.
